Dietary Advice

I put together fourteen golden rules for optimum nutrition, which are medically proven. You will have the full list of these rules when you have homeopathic face to face or online consultation with me.

Now I would like to introduce you to the first two rules.

To learn more about healthy diet and to get your individual weight loss plan, you could have separate weight loss consultation with me.

1. Eat and drink simple food and beverages

What is simple food? It is anything created by Mother Nature, / and not by a human being/ – vegetables, fruit, berries, mushrooms, honey, herbal teas, milk, fish, meat, eggs, water, natural home-made juices.

Things like bread, pasta, sauces, mayonnaise, sweets, chocolate, jams and sausages are made by man and they are much more difficult to digest.

Try to avoid refined, canned or processed food.

White sugar and salt should be strictly limited if you cannot live without these products. White sugar should be replaced by natural organic brown sugar or honey, and refined salt replaced by raw sea salt.

2. Acid and alkaline balance

Medical physiologists consider that for optimum health, a body has to be slightly alkaline.

pH is a standard term used in chemistry to indicate the level of acidity or alkalinity. The pH scale goes from 1 to 14 with 7 as neutral. Anything below 7 would be acid and anything above 7 is alkaline.
To understand what pH balance is you need to understand that cells in the human body are alkaline and must maintain constant alkalinity. Each alkaline cell performs its task of respiration to produce energy. During the process it produces metabolic wastes, which are acidic. These acidic waste products must not build up. The body naturally has the ability to neutralise and detoxify these acids before they start to act as poisons.

The alkaline cells are little bundles of enzymes, each of which is involved in different and very important biological reactions. These reactions are responsible for growth and repairs which are taking place in cells but only if the environment of the cell is right. The enzymes in a cell only work properly in a very narrow pH range, so the fluid in the cell should be neutral or very slightly alkaline. If the cellular environment is wrong, usually acidic, the enzymes cannot work properly and we feel ill, age quickly and look gloomy – dull with a grey face and wrinkles.

The important question is what makes us ill and acidic? Modern life does! Especially if you are fond of the normal western diet – bread, meat, alcohol, milk, tea, coffee.

The ideal pH for human tissue is between 7.35 – 7.45, which is slightly alkaline. That’s why you should eat 75 – 80% of alkaline forming food such as vegetables and fruit, and 20 – 25% of acid forming food such as meat, fish, bread, milk, tea and coffee.
